John Mangu Ladjar is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in social science and public health. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from Nusa Cendana University, graduated in 1996. His career spans significant roles, including his current position as Director of CIRMA-Centrum Inisiatif Rakyat Mandiri since 2018. Previously, he served as Director of Mitra Muda Foundation and Program Manager for the Indonesia Planned Parenthood Association (IPPA) NTT Province. His expertise lies in sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS programs, and maternal and child health, having coordinated numerous impactful projects and initiatives across Indonesia.

John has played a crucial role in leading sanitation and clean water projects, especially for the poorest communities in East Nusa Tenggara province. His leadership has significantly improved access to clean water and proper sanitation, enhancing the health and well-being of marginalized populations. Additionally, he has been a pioneer in climate-smart agriculture and integrative agriculture, working closely with grassroots communities to implement sustainable farming practices.
